Timequest small box

Depending on when you catch me (and depending on how much Kahlua I've had), I've argued that Timequest is the best piece of commercial Interactive Fiction ever produced. The reasons are simple. Text adventures that deal with time travel are as rare as milkweed pollen. But Timequest is one of the absolute few that gives you a bloody great TIME MACHINE and tells you to go have fun (within the logical boundaries presented by the game). All over the world, all over time, explore where/when you want within 30 or so regions. Of course, some time/places are better to go to than others, but for the most part it is one of the most non-linear games I've played.

Anyway, as you can guess, I'm a big fan of Timequest. It, alone, is a big reason why I've created this site.
